Chiyome is the first Crusader in the third tier of the Carnival of Sorrows Event, and the first tier 3 Crusader.

She is a female ninja with many skills to increase her attack! At level 100 Blend with Shadows give her +100% to DPS for every column in front of her. Unlocking Blend with Crowd at level 400 granted 50% more DPS for every adjacent Crusader, and finally Blend with Enemies (unlocked at level 800) gives another 200% bonus when 3 or more enemies are on the screen.

Her Blend with Crowd and Blend with Shadows abilities make her positioning important, but in World's Wake, placing her in the back row in one of the middle two spots or placing her in the dead center surrounded by six other crusaders results in the exact same dps gain, so the other positional formation abilities should be used to decide which spot to place her. This holds true regardless of her level of cowl.

Many formations will force you to place her farther back in the formation or adjacent to more crusaders, but not both. To determine the optimal position, multiply the damage factor from both abilities together for different locations. Example: 3 rows in front of her, 4 adjacent crusaders gives (1+3*900%)*(1+4*450%)= x532 damage. 2 rows in front of her, 6 adjacent crusaders gives (1+2*900%)*(1+6*450%)= x532 damage. These are the numbers for World's Wake with a legendary cowl that were previously mentioned.
