Crusaders Of The Lost Idols Wikia

Crooked Crow is the new Crusader in the sixth tier of the Emo's New Moon Event.

That’s not their real name, but no one knows what is, so this is the nickname they’ve acquired among the Crusaders. They seem to have different names in different regions!

Once you've recruited Crooked Crow you'll find them a friend to bugs, selling beneficial potions and charms alongside cursed objects and scavenged bodyparts. You'll find Crooked Crow in seat 30.

Strategies[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

  • Similar to Alacrity's Imp monsters, the Creepy Crawlies that are spawned will survive for a minimum of about half of a second. Since they cannot technically be instantly killed, they are useful as targets for clicking (for Daily Quests), Fire Storm, and Royal Command without slowing down your progress.
  • Despite the fact that the Creepy Crawlies cannot be instantly killed, they do not seem to slow down wave spawns. If so, the quest drop multiplier should still be beneficial, even if it is not as effective as a generic multiplier.
  • Crawly Friends can be a solid DPS buff for a while, until later in progression when dungeons are a greater focus. With minimal investment in Crow, Crawly Friends can approach a buff of e100, up to about e200 as Crow's gear and slot 5 rune improve.
  • Copying Crow with Mindy or Torakichi is unusually effective. Copying Crawly Friends both provides an extra copy of the buff as well as spawns even more Creepy Crawlies to stack both effects even higher. Crawly Friends (Mimic) can easily exceed e200 by itself under these circumstances.
  • Given the random number of Creepy Crawlies that spawn, Crawly Friends has an unusually high variance in its buff in practice. With this in mind, RoboRabbit's Clicking Capacitor or Kris's Take Root can be helpful in taking more advantage of the peaks of Crawly Friends.
  • In case more stacks are needed or need to be regained, Crawly Friends can be stacked slightly more efficiently by staying on area 1 for a minute. This should provide a few more stacks than during usual progression, since area transitions tend to waste time on stacks. This can be improved by including and copying TUR7L3, whose Sharp Beak ability seems to help to kill the Creepy Crawlies somewhat faster.
