Descend into the Darkness to reach area 625

Complete all other Descent into Darkness objectives (tier 1 or better)
Complete the Grey Goo objective in World's Wake
Every 10 areas it gets darker, reducing your overall DPS by 10% and increasing monster health by 10% and speed by 3.33%. This effect stacks multiplicatively
Note: As this objective reduces your DPS by current area, when you want to use time warps, open chests, etc. to gain gold, going back to area 1 (by pressing shift+left arrow) will increase the gold gained significantly.
Light In The Darkness
Tier 2
Objective
Reach area 775 while a peculiar ally lights the way.
Restrictions
Complete all other Tier 2 Descent Into Darkness objectives
Complete 'Waking Up'
A floating candle occupies the middle of the formation
The candle lights up 3 slots every 15 seconds, for 15 seconds
Only Crusaders in the lit slots do DPS

Unlock Bonus Idols
Buffs all Bonus Idol drops by 25% (additive) and unlocks them for this Campaign.
Note: Lit crusaders retain their status even when taken out of formation or moved to another location. Crusaders added to formation will not deal damage until the candle lights them up.
Corrupting Darkness
Tier 3
Objective
Reach area 1200, or embrace your true self. The choice is yours.
Restrictions
Complete all other Tier 3 "Descent Into Darkness" objectives
Complete "Awaken the Dragon"
Every 15 seconds, a random Crusader becomes corrupted for 5-15 seconds
All positive DPS effects from corrupted Crusaders become negative, and vice versa

Inner Darkness
Tier 4
Objective
Reach area 1200 during a crisis of faith.
Restrictions
Complete all other Tier 4 "Descent Into Darkness" objectives
Complete 'Washed Up'
A seer occupies a slot in the formation, changing places every 100 areas
The seer reveals the true nature of adjacent Crusaders, reducing the effects of their Formation Abilities
The Shadow Queen is always true to herself, making her immune to this effect
If any Crusader is killed, your formation wipes

Only Crusaders with 650 or more personal EP can be used
When killed, monsters come back to life as ghosts.
Ghosts live at least 3 seconds and don't drop quest items when killed.
