Spiky Evil Egg

Evil Eggs are mini-bosses in the identically named fourth objective of Tier 2 of Nate's Candy Conundrum easter event. They appear randomly throughout the objective, are damage capped and have different special abilities:

  • Pink Evil Egg, max. 20% damage per second, ranged attacks: shoots eggs, that damage one of your frontline crusaders continuously for 20% of their max health per second
  • Tentacle Evil Egg, max. 20% damage per second, heals all other monsters on screen for 10% of their max. health
  • Cracking Evil Egg, max. 10% damage per second, disables DPS of one random crusader while on screen till 5 seconds after death
  • Spiky Evil Egg, max. 10% damage per second, explodes on reaching formation killing one crusader instantly

Since all Eggs take some time to die, if you are unlucky with the spawns and get several Tentacle Evil Eggs at the same time, it might take much too long to kill them or be outright impossible (3+ Tentacle Eggs). A Splash damage source (Petra the Pilgrim, Merci, the Mad Wizard, potentially Karl the Kicker, or Splash Buff) is necessary to advance without wiping.
Arachnobuddy can also be useful, his Stick Webbing ability can keep the eggs from reaching your frontline of Crusaders.
To avoid having your single main DPS nullified by the blue eggs, you'll also need several chars who are leveled up to do damage.
If possible use Karen, the Cat Teenager's Nine Lives to tank the ranged attacks and suiciders. If not, you'll need to set up a Tank line with Healer.
