Karl the Kicker is the first Tier 2 crusader unlocked from the Carnage Cup event. Karl takes up the same slot as Natalie Dragon and has some cool abilities in his kit bag.

Note: As of Jan 23 2020, Karl was changed - Split the Uprights now gives splash damage to Punt It!'s projectiles, Showoff adds a gold bonus that stays until reset, and Play of the Game now adds additional targets. Additionally, his Legendary gear was changed so the Trophy gains benefits from Elves, and the Helmet now boosts splash damage of Punt It! instead.

• Because of "Punt It" he is moderately useful in a shooter boosted formation with Agent 79
• Punt It with all upgrades shoots up to five Projectiles which each do 10x your DPS or 100x your CLK, whichever is higher to their main target and half of that to any monster within 20% of screen width.
• Uniquely, Play of the Game can be affected by upgrade buffs. This allows Karl to gain even more projectiles with the help of the rest of the formation, unlike any other projectile crusader. With strong enough buffs, Karl can gain enough projectiles to instantly crash the game as soon as he fires. This is by far the fastest method to gain stacks on Kaala's Bamboo Collection, as long as a non-crashing quantity can be found.
