- Thanks to her Mimic ability, Mindy can fit in any role you wanted her to be, especially if you have her Epic Hat.
- Note that Mindy's Mimic ability has a duration of 30 seconds and is refreshed every 15 seconds, so she can only mimic two crusaders at once, so choose wisely. Placing her adjacent to three crusaders will result in getting a random two of the three. This makes placement of her tricky. She is best off in a corner so she can focus on abilities of only the two best crusaders for your current strategy.
- Only crusader abilities with a diamond around their icon are duplicated. No legendary effects are duplicated unless those legendary effects affect the ability itself. Example: Queen Siri's legendary crown ability that raises all female crusader dps by X% is not mimicked, but Veronica's armband legendary that raises the effectiveness of one of her formation abilities would be "duplicated" in that the effected ability is copied at the higher percentage.
- If an adjacent crusader has no abilities that can be mimiced, this crusader can still be the target of Mimic, Mindy just gains no additional abilities. Tested on 22 JAN 2019 with Gold Panda, Casey, and Billy as possible targets.
- Abilities that were previously enabled, then subsequently disabled after they were bought by CTRL + clicking will still be mimiced unless a new target is temporarily put in place until the mimic for the disabled ability drops off. The original target may be swapped back into place and the disabled ability won't be mimiced again. Tested on 22 JAN 2019 with Casey and Spice It Up.
- Most notable uses for her include letting her mimic item drop increases like Billy's Act of Congress, Chef Casey's Stew (with the Spice it Up upgrade), and Sjin the Builder's Let's Build, or monster spawn speed upgrades like Baenarall's Ancient Hatred, Zoraeban's Lone hunter, and Turps' Tasty.
- Item drop increase bonuses are multiplicative (multiple procs on one kill raise the dropped items by a power of 2, not 1 at a time). This makes them scale better than speed boosts as more are added.
- Other good choices include Kaine/Mister/Larry/RoboSanta/Leerion (Gold), Artaxes/Veronica/Boggins/The Exchange Student (Buffs), Khouri/Halfie (Healing), or other special abilities (Merci's/Petra's/Alan's splash damage, Gryphon's damage resist, Karen's Nine Lives, Soldierette's self healing)
- For deep runs, pair with Milgrid for incredibly powerful dps buffs. For formations that do not have a spot with only two adjacent crusaders, leaving one spot empty to ensure Mindy stays on Milgrid is absolutely appropriate.
- Depending on Wisdom Extraction Bonus, Dr. Almquist will now easily buff even more DPS than Milgrid, while also providing Gold Find Bonus. Making this the single strongest DPS gain in the game. Especially with T4 talent Golden Age.
- On lower areas and if you don't have Mindy's epic or better hat. Milgrid DPS buff grows on the order O(1.5^N) while Dr. Almquist DPS buff grows on the order O(N^2) with at least one level of golden age talent. Additionally with Mindy's gold or legendary hat the copied base of We've Got To Go Deeper increases while Mindy only multiplies Dr. Almquist's Wisdom Extraction bonus.Example: with Mindy legendary hat We've Got To Go Deeper will be 1.5^int(areas/50) stronger while Wisdom Extraction will only be 1.5^2 or 2.25 times stronger with at least one level of golden age talent
- Other notable targets for DPS buffs are Penny, Brogon, Pete, Veronica, and The Exchange Student. Looking for buffs that are enhanced by legendary effects will yield the best DPS gain.
