When a crusader gets polymorphed, all crusaders sharing their slot on the bench are polymorphed too. The Bush Whacker, Nate Dragon and their alternates are never polymorphed. Crusaders retain their tags while frogged, polymorphed humans are still considered humans for other effects. (seat 21 and above crusaders are now affected, as of Feb 23, 2018.) Mindy is able to mimic the abilities of those crusaders next to her who have been frogged. Active abilities of frogged crusaders cannot be used. However, by going back to an area when that crusader isn't frogged, the ability can be activated, and on advancing back to the farthest ahead area, the ability will still be active. Only the time to transition areas is lost. This is especially useful for Magnifying a Storm Rider when one or both of the skills are unavailable due to crusaders being frogged. Equipment that raises DPS during Savage Strikes also continues to apply even with the crusader who activated Savage Strikes frogged.

Ilsa takes up a slot and turns random Crusaders into frogs every 15 seconds
Note: Ilsa's "Kermit" ability (disables the DPS and Upgrades of Crusaders in the formation) will polymorph one random crusader for 1 minute every 15 seconds, resulting in 4 frogged crusaders at any time while letting the game idle.
(Loading a saved formation resets timers for all timer-based abilities, which at one time would reset Ilsa's "Kermit" polymorph debuff. However, this is no longer effective.)
