Sjin the Builder (pronounced "shin") is the second Crusader in the The Yogscast Search For Simon Event.

Sjin the Builder can swap with Sarah, the Collector, The Metal Soldierette, and Snickette the Sneaky. As such, he cannot be used in the formation with these crusaders at the same time.

Sjin's Let's Build effect creates a "construct" that will add one of five effects:

• Palace: Increase Global DPS by 25%
• Tower: Increase Gold Find by 25%
• Mountain: Increase monster spawn speed by 10%
• Ice Castle: Add a 25% chance to double quest rewards
• Fortress: Buff other construct effects by 100%.

These do not duplicate an existing effect, and last for 15 seconds. Gear and other abilities will further increase the duration and strength of these effects.

• Sjin's constructs don't last forever however they are better than nothing cause during their active time, they can give many benefits especially speed up effects
• Two of his constructs : Mountain and Ice Castle effectively speed up farming especially in early areas
• Because of this ability, Sjin is usually used as speed crusaders together with Turps the Tasty, President Billy Smithsonian, Baenarall, Angel of Hope, Penny the Park Planner and Chef Casey . Mindy the Mime is usually added in to mimic two of them
• Previously Sjin's Teamwork also work with Escorts such as Goos, Kids and Relics however starting from ver 0.122.2, Teamwork can only work with live crusaders
• Most formations only allow Teamwork to reach 60%.
• Upgrade Buffs can affect Timelapse. With a strong enough buff, Sjin can have 100% uptime on all of his constructs.
• With his golden legendary hammer, the construct that grants a chance for double quest rewards can reach 100%, even without any adjacent crusaders or other buffs.
