Speed Crusaders

A few Crusaders have special abilities that aid with completing areas faster in different ways, all of which reduces the time needed to reach the intended area. Here is a list of Crusaders with specific abilities to speed up progress:

For most of these Crusader, gear improves the speed abilities; the exceptions are Dr. Evil and Thoonoose.

Unlike Sjin the Builder, Chef Casey and Rex the Wrestler can improve their chances of receiving speed benefits by choosing not to purchase abilities with other effects, such as Casey's Carnivore, or Rex's New Buyers and Critical Sale.

While Mindy the Mime has no speed abilities of her own, her mimic of other abilities is invaluable. Often she is paired with President Billy and Chef Casey (or Sjin the Builder, until Casey is available), as their abilities cannot be duplicated with buffs like spawn speed.

Penny, Trixie and Pascal's speed abilities are not Formation Abilities, so while they cannot be disabled in certain objectives, they also can't be mimicked by Mindy. She also can't copy Bruno's benefit, as it comes from his Horn gear, or Crooked Crow's spawn speed, which comes from his Ingredient gear.
