Thoonoose is the new Crusader in the third tier of the Superhero Spring Event. Thoonoose is no stranger to doing damage with his enormous golden gauntlet. He is an almost titanic damage dealer, and a badass blue-clad purple alien to boot!

At level 100, Cosmic Gem will turn accumulated monster kills into gems that increase DPS. At level 800, Snap lets him trade in those gems and 200 more kills for immediate level completion, wiping out all enemies on the spot!

Snap	800	40.9v	Upon collecting all 6 Cosmic Gems and another 200 monster kills, Thoonoose waits until at least 1 monster is on screen and snaps his fingers. When this happens, all monsters are killed and the area quest is completed instantly.  Note: Changing area after Thoonoose's "Snap" has activated will now reset its effect since v0.154.

Strategies[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

• Thoonoose has monster kill counter so you can keep track on how many monsters have been killed
• It was previously possible to accumulate kills in an earlier area, then hit Shift + Right Arrow to go to you last area, clearing the last area instantly, then repeating. This was called "snapping", and was largely patched out of the game.
• It is now required to kill at least one enemy in an area before the "snap" occurs, limiting the ability to abuse it. However, stacks may still be built up in a lower area (ie area 1), then jumping to the last area as was done before. This can get you past some hurdles, as long as you don't lose too much DPS by swapping in Thoonoose, as you only have to kill a single (non-boss) enemy to clear a boss stage, and getting an extra 5 areas is very realistic depending on your team composition.
• If you want to use Thoonoose as main DPS, it might be a good idea to not purchase his Snap upgrade to ensure he keeps his gems to boost his DPS.
