Zuczek the Fire-Blooded is the new Crusader in the sixth tier of the Song of Thrones Event.

Deep down in the mountainside, where no human was supposed to have been able to reach, Zuczek and her hive lived. A harmless worker drone, Zuczek was off gathering supplies when the slaughter happened. She felt the deaths through the hivemind as one by one her fellows were killed. She rushed back, her anxiousness making her claws slip and slide on the stone as she scurried along.

Zuczek burst into the entrance of the home cave and managed to glimpse a view of a man-like figure just before the cavern erupted with a burst of light which knocked her out. When she woke up, her worker's body was now covered in a warrior's carapace and a new fire flooded her veins - a fire for revenge. Whatever miracle had saved her life was bittersweet, but if she transformed once, maybe in time she could change again. She tidied up what remained of the corpses of her family into the burial chamber, and then left the cave for good, looking for the creature that did this to them.

By joining your crusaders on their travels, she hopes to one day find her nemesis.

Zuczek the Fire-Blooded is a Support Crusader. When you want to add her to your formation, you can find them in slot 37.

Mimicking "Laugh in the face of fire" still only creates one stack per cast of Fire Storm.

Strategies[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

  • Laugh in the Face of Fire will scale up to 5.67e8595% DPS, assuming 40000 stacks with a level 15 slot 5 rune. This makes it the single strongest permanent ability in the game without relying on other crusaders. Although Shir Brio of Cadenza can reach higher, it would require excessive waiting or time warps, and would reset at the end of the run.
  • With sufficient stacks of Laugh in the Face of Fire and a sizable slot 5 rune, Zuczek can trivialize most objectives where she is allowed, including Evil Scheme (with the Infernal Evolution skin effect). Because of this, taking some time to gain stacks can be more beneficial in the long term.
  • RoboTurkey has the shortest Fire Storm cooldown with his golden legendary chip, at 90%, followed by The Princess with her golden legendary at 80%. After these, any legendary item with Fire Storm cooldown reduction will give 75%.
  • On average, the talent Instant Satisfaction will provide about 2 casts of Fire Storm for each cooldown, thus 40000 stacks will require about 20000 cooldowns. With Roboturkey's GL lowering the cooldown to 90 seconds, and assuming all casts are instantaneous, 20000 cooldowns will take 1800000 seconds, or 500 hours.
  • To keep a permanent target on screen for Fire Storm, you can simply complete areas up to your maximum number. Once a monster's health is higher than your maximum number, that monster cannot be damaged by any means, including Fire Storm. This prevents the DPS increase from Laugh in the Face of Fire from eventually killing the monster. Ideally, this should be done on a boss area, so that only the boss is left on screen and it can be immobilized using either Priestess of Time or Momma Kaine (with her golden legendary gun or with Mindy miming her legendary gun). This is an ideal situation to use time warps to reset Fire Storm's cooldown, often called "fast stacking" by the community.
  • An alternative option from the above is to create a "zero DPS" formation by using Dr. Evil to infect 7 animals. This will multiply your DPS by 0, allowing you to leave any boss alive indefinitely (since Fire Storm is based on current health instead of max health, thus never killing the boss). (Note that your DPS will be 1e50 instead if you have completed the objective The One, so you will still instantly kill bosses below area 260. )
  • It is possible to cast Fire Storm (and therefore gain stacks) while still progressing. This simply requires having Crooked Crow or Alacrity the Matchmaker in the formation, because their spawns (from Crawly Friends and Summon Trickster respectively) cannot be instantly killed and therefore provide a target for Fire Storm. This is often referred to as "slow stacking" by the community.
